Their performances offer strong instrumentation, a variety of vocals and tight harmonies. Their audience rapport is enhanced by humor and light-hearted banter.Harold Noye generally sings the lead vocals and plays the mandolin with Vans Bryant playing guitar and singing harmony vocals. John Campbell plays the fiddle and sings lead and harmony vocals. Jim Dickson plays banjo and sings harmony vocals. Their manager, Marnie Noye, compliments their sound by playing a solid stand up bass.Dunromin has two recordings.
Their first CD was entitled “Making Plans” and their second project entitled “Memories” earned the band a nomination for a 2016 PEI Music Award in the Roots /Traditional category.
Dunromin has played at bluegrass festivals and bluegrass concerts for several years. They also play at local events such as ceilidhs, community festivals and various private and community events. In 2016, they felt honoured to play at the historic Indian River Church. In 2017, Dunromin initiated a partnership with the Linkletter Community Centre where they host a monthly music jamboree on the fourth Thursday of each month. These popular events feature a performance by Dunromin followed by open mic guests.
